Unlike traditional commercial journals that force scholars to sign away their copyright, NIJES allows authors to retain 100% of their copyright without restriction.

Rights Retained by Authors

Authors retain copyright and all intellectual property rights. Authors may reuse portions, tables, or figures in future dissertations, monographs, lectures, and educational coursepacks without seeking written permission from NIJES.

License Granted to Journal

Authors grant NIJES a non-exclusive license to publish, typeset, register DOIs, distribute, and preserve the article in digital repositories worldwide under CC BY 4.0.

Third-Party Permissions

Any third party may reproduce or translate the article for educational or commercial purposes, provided the original authors are credited and the NIJES citation is properly cited.
